Who this applies to

This policy applies to therapists, counsellors, supervisors, and any professional who creates an account under the Lovfamilia professional portal at lovfamilia.app/for-professionals.

What we collect from you

We collect your name, professional title, email address, and password when you create an account. We generate a unique referral or team code linked to your account. We do not collect your professional registration numbers, client records, or clinical notes.

What you can see about your clients or CHWs

Your dashboard shows engagement signals only. This includes whether a connected individual is active or has Needs Space on, how frequently they engage with the app, and any signals they have explicitly chosen to send you such as heavy visit logs, rest day requests, or handover notes. You never see private messages, personal connections, or any content the individual has not explicitly directed to you.

What your clients or CHWs can see about you

Connected individuals can see your display name and any acknowledgements or recommendations you send them through the app. They cannot see your email address, your other clients, or your professional dashboard.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to operate the Lovfamilia professional features. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose outside the functionality of the app. We do not use client engagement data for research without explicit consent from all parties.

Client consent and unlinking

Clients and CHWs link to you voluntarily by entering your code during signup. They can unlink from your account at any time through their profile settings. When they unlink, they are immediately removed from your dashboard and you can no longer see their engagement signals.

Data retention

If you delete your professional account, all associated data including your team code, client links, acknowledgements, and recommendations are permanently deleted. Client and CHW accounts are not affected by your deletion.

Security

All data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with row-level security. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. We do not store any clinical or session data.
